Invitation to participate in the support program for young entrepreneurs of Kotayk and Gegharkunik regions.
UNDP within “Unleashing Employment and Income Generating Opportunities for Youth in the Regions of Armenia" Project funded by the Russian Federation together with BSC Business Support Center implements “Micro-small Enterprises (MSEs) Support Program".
The aim of the Project is:
– Increase the employability of the youth in vocational education and training,
– Facilitate transition to work for the youth in the target regions,
– Support economic empowerment of young people in the target regions.
Businesses are welcome to apply to the program, if they meet the following criterion:
– Must be registered and operating in Kotayk or Gegharkunik regions,
– Are considered micro or small enterprises (MSEs),
– Are operating for 2 or more years,
– Have an annual turnover of no less than AMD 3 million, (based on latest financial report),
– Entrepreneurs must be willing to co-finance 10% of the grant amount,
– Business owner must be under the age of 35,
– Are willing to participate in entrepreneurial courses and develop a business plan.
The support program contains:
– 7-day training on entrepreneurship,
– Business Consulting,
– Business plan development,
– Presentation of business ideas,
– Provision of financial resources,
– Ongoing consulting and monitoring.

Applicants will be selected based on applications, where justification, basic business knowledge and business idea (based on how realistic and with perspective it is) will be evaluated.
Based on the applications received, the applicants who passed the next stage will be contacted and interviewed, based on which the participants of the program will be selected. There are limited places for theprogram: 30 participants from both regions.
If there are applicants who have equal points in the previous two stages, priorities will be given to companies, which:
– Owner has physical disabilities,
– Company is operating in rural areas,
– Company is operating in the following sectors: agro-production and agro-processing, small-scale production (dried fruits, textile products, leather goods, items from precious and semi-precious stones and metals; agricultural products), IT, tourism and hospitality, entertainment, recreation and culture,
– Business owner is a femal.
At the end of the training, the participants will present their business plans to the selection committee, based on which they will be evaluated. A total of 20 participants from the two regions will receive AMD 2,000,000 – 3,000,000 grants for business development.
Grantees are obliged to submit financial reports, including procurement and financial documents.

until December, 2022.
