BSC - UNDP Armenia

UNDP in Armenia, together with the BSC Business Support Center, has invested in the human capital development of TVETIs to improve the quality of TVET delivery as one of the key measures to bridge the gap between supply and demand for the qualified labor force.

More than 600 TVETIs teachers have passed an online training course on “Soft skills” within the framework of the “Unleashing Employment and Income Generating Opportunities for Youth in the Regions of Armenia” project. Soft skills are a fundamental set of skills for today’s world. Knowledge, innovation, and creativity play key functions in developing human capital, which is a core driver of economic progress and sustainable development.

The 20-hour online course was focused on the key topics of soft skills development including:
communication techniques,
teamwork,
emotional intelligence,
positive attitude,
critical thinking,
networking,
presentation and problem-solving.
