BSC and UNDP Armenia in Lori and Tavush Marzes

An online business training was organized by the EU-LEAD4 Lori and Tavush Regions project, as part of the Grants competition announced by five Local Action Groups (LAG) formed in Lori and Tavush regions. The goal was to educate and equip grant applicants and interested locals with knowledge and techniques on business planning and development.

During the first day of training, participants delved into the rules, structure, and techniques of business plan development. They learned about the “do’s" and “don’ts" of business planning and essential conditions for crafting a successful business plan that could secure funding.

On the second day, the focus shifted to financial management and fundamental financial calculations essential for business operations.

Key topics covered included:
Costs and their types,
Cost price and price estimation,
Sales forecasts,
Profitability calculation,
Presentation of specific taxes,
Development of an investment plan․

Throughout the training, there were numerous questions and requests for guidance, all promptly addressed by the trainers from BSC Business Support Center.

Following the training, face-to-face counseling sessions will take place at the LAGs. Trainers from BSC Business Support Center worked closely with grant competition applicants who have passed the first selection stage, refining their applications to enhance their effectiveness and competitiveness.
