Goal
– The goal of the program is to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Armenia that plays a key and significant role in the development of the innovation system.
Description
– The program provides funding and other resources to start-up technology companies and research groups to commercialize their ideas and create new value in the economy. In particular, grant competitions will provide start-up companies with funding at the idea and growth stages to ensure product development and market access.
Target group
– Tech startups in the idea and growth stages.
Additional information
– Companies-winners of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in an incubation program that will help them work on their idea, develop a minimum viable product and move on to the next stage of development.
– After the successful completion of the incubation phase, these companies will be ready to receive funding in the form of a grant to enter target markets and build a client base.
– It is planned to allocate a maximum of 5 million drams at the idea stage grant competition.
– As part of the grant competition, at the stage of entering the market, companies will be provided with no more than AMD 10 million.
– Companies-winners of the competition will have the opportunity to participate in the acceleration program. As a result of providing funding and ensuring acceleration, new start-up technology companies will develop, the best of which will be able to attract investments.
