The program was executed by the Business Support Center (BSC), in collaboration with the Aurora Humanitarian Initiative Charitable Foundation and the SOS Children's Villages Armenian Charity Foundation.
The primary goal of the program was to enhance economic prospects and employment opportunities for youth impacted by the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This was achieved through initiatives focused on providing quality education, vocational training, and entrepreneurial skill development, as well as offering start-up grants and job placements.
The program targeted Armenian youth aged 17-35 who had been displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia due to the conflict.
BSC implemented a comprehensive business support program, including:
Entrepreneurship courses
Individual consultations
Business plan development
Ongoing business consulting
Evaluation and selection of business proposals
6 months of continuous counseling, monitoring, and mentoring
Oversight of business documentation processes
Outcomes of the program included:
Beneficiaries: 25
Developed business plans: 17
Established businesses: 9
The 9 successful businesses received initial capital to cover business expenses such as business registration, acquisition of necessary equipment, procurement of raw materials, etc.
